Ayesha Takia (also known as Aisha Takia), a hugely popular actress and model, started her bollywood career with a disastrous Tarzan - the Wonder Car. Although the movie was directed by the reputed director duo - Abbas-Mustan, was rejected by the audience, but Ayesha Takia’s electrifying performance won her Filmfare - Best Debut Award in the year 2004. Interestingly, none of her movies has worked at the box-office, but her bubbling personality has earned her millions of fans all over the world. But her critics believe that Ayesha Takia is popular just because of her above average bust size. To prove the critics wrong, Ayesha appeared in the critically acclaimed Dor, where she played a young widowed Rajasthani woman living in a traditional joint family. Ayesha, later, went on to win Best Actress - Zee Cine Critics Award for the movie. She was last seen in No Smoking and Sunday.
Not many know that Ayesha Takia started her showbiz career opposite Shahid Kapoor when she was a kid for the hugely popular Complan commercial. Later, when she was sixteen years old, she appeared in couple of music videos - Falguni Pathak’s “Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye” and DJ Aqueel’s “Shake it Daddy”.
Ayesha Takia was born on April 10th, 1986 in Mumbai, India. Her father Nishit is Gujarati and mother Faridah is half British and half Maharashtrian. She went to St. Anthony’s High School, and grew up speaking mainly English at home. Ayesha Takia is currently dating Farhan Azmi, a high-profile restaurateur.

Time has come to strike off yet another name from the list of Bollywood’s eligible singles.For ready to get hitched is the cute and roly-poly Ayesha Takia . The girl has been dating her restaurateur boyfriend Farhan Azmi for about three years; and the duo now seem in a mood to solemnize their relationship by taking marital vows.Both Ayesha and Farhan have confirmed that marriage is on the cards but they fail to confirm any specific date. Farhan says the marriage might happen probably by the end of this year or early next year.

Even the families of the duo have given their nods. Farhan’s family has been very fond of Ayesha; her family, too, has liked Farhan from the start.

On top of it both the families are proud of the way in which Ayesha has conducted her acting career in Bollywood. Though there have been offers aplenty, the physically attractive girl has clearly avoided doing any role that require her to show skin or get intimate with her co-stars.

She turned down a big Yashraj Film and a Nagesh Kukunoor film simply because she found the roles too bold for her.

Ayesha has already limited the number of films she is doing. Last seen in De Taali , she is now working in a project called Paathshala .
